Scott's Birthday #10 -- He's a Double Digit!

Scott has officially become a double digit!    This marks a step up in our house.   More privileges come with being a double digit, like getting to stay up later... but wait..  Scott does that all the time.  I guess that comes with being the youngest and being an amazing person who has tremendous FOMO and has since birth!  

Here are 10 reasons why I love and celebrate our amazing wonderful Scott.  (I am limited to only 10 so this will be hard!)

1-  Even as a baby, Scott confidently included himself in whatever the family was doing.   He came ready for fun and has never allowed himself to be left out of anything the family is doing.   And, good thing he is so cool because his brothers haven't minded if he joins the parties, or games or activities.
2-  Scott has a kind heart.   He is tender and looks out for others.   He offers to help me
3-He still loves to get into my bed at the end of the day to read and chat.   I love that he loves to be next to his mom still.
4-He is a great friend, eager to be a friend and good at making friends.  
5-He loves to read and learn, much like Eric he prefers to read and study good books (so far!  Oh shiver me timbers!  Technology and screens threaten to sap this love of learning away on every side :(
6- Scott works hard and overcomes challenges!  I am so proud of him!  

7- I love that he loves adventures!  He and his friends have a biking trail that they love to ride through.  

8- Scott desires to choose the right.  I am grateful

9- Scott is great at playing games and he loves to play games with his brothers!

10- I love it when Scott wants to help me with stuff.  He has willingly participated in service, like helping me organize donations I was taking to the Homeless Teenager Shelter.  He has been willing to help me take dinner to someone who needed help.  He is willing to sing for elderly people in assisted living centers, rake leaves, and help others!  He is AWESOME
