Prom 2012

Prom  May 25, 2012

It was an awesomely fun experience to go with my son, Jonathan, to help him pick out his tuxedo, and help him to pick up his corsage.   We had many opportunities to talk and laugh and anticipate the fun he was going to have.  It was almost as fun as having a daughter..but he is my son and it was pretty fun to do a few things with him to get ready to take this beautiful girl to Prom

I think they are darling... and they are very good friends.

It was reported to me that they had a great time together.  I should ask Jon to write about it here.. and maybe I will.

But, I do know this:

The big day began with a hike and breakfast.

-next the girls did the spa thing.  Had their nails, hair and makeup done
-Met up at about 5 pm, took pictures, and began their progressive dinner.
-The dance was held downtown at the state capital and he and his group just had a great time.

Is that a beautiful dress or what?  And she has the tiniest waist... what a princess girl.

 These two have so much fun together.. talk for hours.. laugh together.

This is another picture of part of their group.  I am still waiting to get more pictures and when I do I will post them.

I love having teenagers.  I love getting to know my teenager's friends.  They are great people and it is fun to share in these exciting times of their lives.

I would say Prom 2012 was a great success and they will remember it all of their lives.

I was supposed to get more pictures from this event..but they did not show up...  That is the last time I will trust that important pictures will show up.
